Former legislator and Congress leader Mohammad Ali passed away. He represented the Aluva legislative assembly six times. Also, he wins consecutive elections.
He was also a member of the Kerala Pradesh Congress Committee and the All-India Congress Committee.
His political career begins with the Kerala Students Union. He was president of KSU from Ernakulam District from 1966 to 68. Also, he went on to become the general secretary of the youth congress.
